There is a problem with some phones where if you flash the combination firmware it gets stuck on SBL Error. No download mode, no recovery, just SBL error.
The only way to fix it is with testpoint (but it does not work for the G930P because there is no loader).
GCPro has the operation "read_dump" that can communicate with the phone in this mode. I tried read dump, and it says restarting phone when it is done, but it does not restart. Is there any way to try and force the phone into download mode using the upload mode interface?
