Often times I download a firmware and it only comes with normal CSC, while others only come with a Home_CSC.
The purpose of this is on some phones to reset frp need the phone to stay on same settings - keep adb active from combination..
Often times customer doesn't want phone reset, so just to update to newest FW, and on newer models flashing only BL/AP/CP wipes phone anyway.
Is there a way to generate both home_csc file which won't wipe the phone when flashing (or has less chance of wiping out user data) & a normal CSC which WILL wipe the phone.
Both are important in their situation - customer can come in with phone they tried to root and it's stuck, but only firmwares with Home_CSC are available, and wiping in recovery doesn't always wipe the phone.
It's annoying to use bandwith and disk space on downloading an ENTIRE firmware just to get the home_csc file.
If anyone knows this trick, please post solution, or am I wasting my time.
