Z3X box basic Samsung unlock

Please point in the right direction, I'm sure it was discussed here or elsewhere before.
What is the unlock procedure for US operators Samsung Note 4, Note 5 and Note 8?
From what I understand it's not simple push of UNLOCK button I'd need to flash some special modem file first?
Same for google/FRP unlock, flash Sboot first, unlock and then factory reset the phone?
