I want to buy a chip writer, but my needs are very specific.
Nothing to do with phones at all...
I want to know how easy it would be for me to modify a larger Samsung BGA153 chip so that the application I'm using *thinks* it's dealing with my original chip. Specifically, my older chip is a KLMBG4GEAC-B031 32GB chip and the chips I want to modify are KLMDGAGEAC-B001 - 128GB and KLMEG8UCTA-B041 - 256GB. All Samsung eMMC BGA153 chips.
I believe the application is using the older chip's S/N but it might also be using other parts of the CID partition.
Is it possible to modify the chip's CID on YOUR writer, and how would I proceed to do it?
